Material lists help you plan and track material movements cleanly. Ultimately, the material list is the digital version of the material sheet that was previously used to plan projects. There are different list types for different situations, for example for deliveries, returns or counts.
Each list has a status to track its progress. For example, for a delivery to the construction site, you can see whether it is currently being packed in the warehouse or is already on the truck.
| List type | What it is for |
|---|
| Material planning | Plan material requirements for a construction project in advance |
| Delivery | Bring material from the warehouse to the construction site |
| Return | Bring material back from the construction site |
| Transfer | Move material from one construction site to another |
| Supplier order | Order or rent material from the supplier |
| Order | Record material requirements within an ongoing construction project |
| Counting list | Count material on site and check stock |
| Loss list | Record lost material |
| Scrap list | Record material that can no longer be used |
| Sales list | Record sold material |

- Delivery, Return, Transfer and Supplier order accompany real material movements.
- Counting lists help you check stock.
- Loss, scrap and sales lists are special cases with a very short workflow.
