Vehicles

On this page you will learn how to create, edit and delete vehicles in Stocadro. Vehicles are used, among other things, for driving tasks as well as for all list types (e.g. delivery, return, etc.).

Specifying the maximum payload allows the weight of lists to be compared against the vehicles or vehicle combinations used. In lists, vehicle combinations with up to three components can be created (vehicle + loading platform + trailer).

In the web app you will find vehicles under Resources.

You create a new vehicle by clicking the plus icon at the bottom right of the screen. For correct use in downstream processes, it is important that all relevant data is filled in completely and correctly.

You can define the following details for a vehicle:

  • Vehicle (select the vehicle type from a dropdown: vehicle, trailer or loading platform)
  • Name (unique designation of the vehicle)
  • Location (selection of an already created warehouse location)
  • Maximum payload (kg) (maximum permitted payload in kilograms)
  • Number plate (official registration number of the vehicle)

To edit an existing vehicle, click the pen icon in the Action column in the row of the desired vehicle, or double-click the vehicle. This opens the detail view, where you can make changes to the individual fields.

Confirm the changes with Save.

You can delete a vehicle by clicking the three-dot icon in the Action column and selecting Delete. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the vehicle.

So that a vehicle can be scanned during warehouse operations, you can generate a PDF document with a QR code for printing. To do this, click the three-dot icon in the Action column and select Generate PDF. The PDF document is then generated and saved.

  • Maintain the location regularly so that driving tasks can be planned correctly.
  • Make sure to specify the maximum payload correctly to avoid overloading.
  • Use the appropriate vehicle type (vehicle, trailer, loading platform) to correctly represent logistics workflows.
